This new lab fitout for Evonik consisted of a new outdoor 1MVA Unit Substation and a fairly large distribution line up. Most of the floor area is quite dense with process piping so pre-planning became very important on this multi-phased project. With 15′ of space between finish t-bar ceiling and the underside of the roof, all electrical elements had to be meticulously planned out to ensure nothing needed to be done in the ceiling after the t-bar grid was installed.
