The first ever McDonald’s built in British Columbia, opening in 1967, was scheduled for a major update. The update would require demolition of the existing structure with a new modern restaurant built in its place. The new restaurant would have a new main hydro service, new European designed lighting, a new automated kitchen, and a high tech customer ordering system.
The schedule for the project was aggressive with the whole project, demolition through to opening, needing to be completed within 16 weeks. The pressure was on with planned re-opening scheduled for the 50th anniversary of the original opening. The date was set and the media booked.
Bridge Electric, along with the whole building team, came together to complete this project On Time! Congratulations to McDonald’s on their successful re-opening.
