Major Statistics:
In 2006 Bridge Electric Corp. was selected by 299 Burrard Management Ltd. as the electrical contractor on what would be Bridge´s most daring and largest project to date, the largest commercial/residential project completed in the downtown core, the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel and Residences. This completed project is another outstanding example of Bridge Electric’s commitment to delivering a quality project ON TIME.
The Fairmont Pacific Rim project was challenging from the beginning, with only 30% of the design completed when the project started and a fixed completion date – with a fully booked hotel for the 2010 Winter Olympics!
Challenging projects, however, are nothing new to Bridge Electric Corp. who, over the last 20 years, has developed a reputation for pushing job schedules and leading other trades in the commitment of being ON TIME. Bridge knew from the onset this project would require innovation, extensive preplanning and careful attention to detail.
Bridge has a 20 year history of striving to always finish their work ON TIME as agreed to with the customer. This has involved extensive efforts in ingenuity, planning, procurement and training. This has earned Bridge an industry wide reputation for being a leader and a driving force on construction sites.
For this project, wiring walls before they existed and installing drywall to mount devices were just a couple of the methods employed by Bridge to ensure they once again brought this project to completion ON TIME.
In 2010 the VRCA recognized Bridge’s efforts with both the 2010 VRCA Gold Award of Excellence and 2010 VRCA Innovation Award.
