Trinity Western University has expanded into downtown Richmond with their newest campus located in the Quintet Phase II complex. The project consists of 2 lecture halls, 11 classrooms, student study areas, and facility offices.
Working to new City of Richmond energy utilization targets the project achieved LEED Gold certification. To achieve this target lighting control systems incorporated daylight harvesting, vacancy sensors, and time clocks. Additionally, receptacles were incorporated in to the lighting management system to disconnect loads when rooms were vacant.
Lecture halls fully equipment with AV controls involved heavy coordination to ensure all conduits and boxes would fit in the wall cavities while ensure user equipment locations were met.
